Paper Card
With constantly increasing popularity of web technology and progressions made in the associated field, it makes a sense that ‘e-greeting’ cards have turned into a common way for staying in touch with loved ones. Millions of greetings cards are sent out through e-mails every day, but still there is huge controversy over these electronic greeting cards. No doubt, such cards are cheaper and much easier to send out than paper card, but there are some certain downsides of e-greetings.
It does not matter whether one types in any personal message or not, e-greeting cards simply do not look as special as ‘paper greeting card’. Just as ‘handwritten letter’ looks more special than e-mail, taking sufficient time to selection paper card, sign it, and mail it holds more importance to recipient. It is important, especially when the age of recipients is above 35, as they still remember the time before technology, and treasure the notion of receiving personal greetings.
One good thing about sending out e-greetings is the expediency included. People often forget about birthday, or anniversary and memorize it at last minute. Even so, they can send out e-greeting card on the particular day of event, and get pleasured by knowing that they did not miss the special day.
Of course, such types of greetings can appear handy, but they cannot show others that you care for them. To get paper card to recipients timely, one needs to plan at the forefront, or in fact he often needs to think about special event at least one week ahead.
